Slow Food Philadelphia is presenting Keepwell Vinegar Demo and Tasting

We are returning to the Restaurant School Annex, located at 4100 Walnut Street, to continue a series of educational seminars. KEEPWELL VINEGAR, a partnership of two former pastry chefs, Sarah Conezio and Isaiah Billington. The versatility of fermentation allows them to work with a wide variety of crops, utilize ‘ugly’ seconds that would otherwise go unsold, buy in bulk during seasonal gluts, and support the best and most responsible farmers. They will talk about the process of vinegar production and share ideas for creative vinegar drinks/cocktails and provide a cooking demo. Cocktails served along with lite appetizers prepared with their vinegar.

The restaurant school is on the Southwest corner of 41st and Walnut streets in Philadelphia (entrance on 41st street). The address is 4100 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, are the location of the classrooms and 4207 Walnut Street is the site for parking the auto.

Slow Food Philadelphia is a volunteer organization, part of Slow Food International. All are welcome to join our local chapter and to become a volunteer, and if you want to join the membership, you apply here.
