Kombucha brewing class

Slow Food Philadelphia is presenting Kombucha brewing class with special guest Olga Sorzano, on Feb 17, 2020, at 6:30 p.m, located at The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College. In this class, you will learn the beginning basics of fermentation and everything you need to know to brew kombucha in the comfort of your home safely. Babas kombucha will be served (with or without alcohol) along with a cheese pairing. You will receive a SCOBY to take home for future kombucha brewing.

Olga Sorzano brews her Old World recipe passed down from her great grandmother (Baba) in Siberia. She uses local, seasonal organic ingredients to flavor her kombucha.
The restaurant school is on the Southwest corner of 41st and Walnut streets in Philadelphia (entrance on 41st street). The address is 4100 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, are the location of the classrooms and 4207 Walnut Street is the site for parking the auto.
