Beekeeping hosted by Trey Flemming of Two Gander Farm
Trey Flemming is one of the leading authorities on beekeeping in our region and owner of Two Gander Farm and Apiary with over 70 colonies. Trey will be teaching the basics of beekeeping and how you can get started in this fascinating work. Trey works with many city residents who raise bees right here in the city. We will have a honey tasting and mead.

Flour Seminar & Pasta Demo hosted by Roberta Strickler of Daisy Flour and Andrew Gerson, Strada Pasta
Daisy Flour is milled and produced in Annville, PA in rural Lancaster County. On the banks of the Quittapahilla Creek sits an historic Certified Organic flour mill where Roberta Strickler produces her many types of organic flour. Her flour can be found at the Fair Food Farmstand in the Reading Terminal Market and used at many local restaurants in their bread, pastry, pizza, and of course pasta.
Strada Pasta owner Andrew Gerson who returned last year to his home here in Philly as a graduate of the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Bra, Italy will demonstrate pasta making using Daisy Flour.
Learn all about local, fresh, small batch, organic, artisanal flour from our region’s top miller and then see her product being used to make fresh pasta from a classically trained pasta maker. Food sampling and wine served.

The Benefits of Raw Milk, Tasting of Raw Milk Products hosted by Fair Food Market
Fair Food Farmstand located in the Reading Terminal Market sells raw milk from several dairy farms along with cheese and other dairy products made from raw milk. Many cultures consume raw milk and once you taste the rich flavors and are explained the true health benefits, you too will be a believer.

Award-winning Italian Wines hosted by Joe Brandolo
Gambero Rosso, Italy’s premier wine publication will be taking their award winning wines on a tasting tour of the country this spring and here is a chance to preview 6 wines that won awards from various regions around Italy. We will taste those wines and discuss the regions where the wines are grown and produced.
