“Feast Your Eyes Catering is an on and off-premise caterer that prides itself on providing outstanding food and service while meeting its obligation to be an engaged, positive corporate force in our community. That includes environmental action wherever and whenever we’re able to effect it, including both energy choices and generation as well as culinary choices.
Our headquarters and event site, Front & Palmer, features local artwork, a monitor displaying the output of our solar panels, and re-purposed materials culled from our having converted the building from its former life as a barrel factory.
We compost all food scraps and use biodegradable disposable service wear. We’ve been actively recycling for over 15 years. Part of our parking lot is grass-covered parking spaces supported by plastic structures made of recycled material.
Lynn Buono, co-owner and Chief Culinary Officer, has been sourcing local products and produce from the region for over 20 years. When her Paternal grandfather retired from his butcher’s business in South Philadelphia, he bought a farm in Phoenixville and became known as a source for game meats and other foods.
Skip Schwarzman, Lynn’s husband and business partner, is Chief Reconnaissance Officer. He was born and raised in Vineland, NJ, the poultry capital of the country at the time and smack in the middle of Jersey farmland. Like Lynn, Skip comes from a family that owned their own business; their backgrounds have given both of them a deep appreciation for keeping business local.
As natural friends to the farmer, Lynn and Skip were either born in Philadelphia or nearby, besides raising their family and starting their business here. Working local, thinking global is fundamental to how Feast Your Eyes operates.”
