What is the Ark of Taste?

One of the Slow Food Programs that truly defines our international mission is the Ark of Taste. The Ark of Taste travels the world collecting small-scale quality productions threatened by industrial agriculture, environmental degradation and homogenization. Since 1996, more than 800 products from over 50 countries have been added to the international Ark of Taste. The Ark of Taste searches out, catalogues and protects these products some at risk of extinction from all around the planet.
